BACHELOR’S AND MASTER’S THESIS IN PHYSICS AT THE LABORATORY OF CRYSTALLOGRAPHY  

The topics for a Bachelor's or Master's thesis are based on current research conducted at the Laboratory of Crystallography. 

The first topic area covers solids with highly correlated electron systems. Of particular interest are phase transformations and physical properties of exotic states such as charge density wave, magnetic spin-Peierls order, and aperiodic crystal structures.

The second topic area covers investigations into the chemical reactivity and stability of complex crystalline solids using electron density studies. Besides experimental work, new methods based on the maximum entropy method (MEM) are developed and implemented in computer programs.
